We are looking for a

Regulatory Knowledge Lawyer

To further strengthen our European financial regulatory law team, we are looking for a Regulatory Knowledge Lawyer (full-time or part-time). The location of the position is flexible, and the successful candidate may be based in one of our offices in Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Paris or Luxembourg. We would also consider candidates working remotely.

Role and responsibilities

As a regulatory lawyer, you are aware that tracking and analysing the latest legal developments in the financial regulation space is the basis for market-leading advice to our financial institution clients. To this end, we are looking to further expand our continental European knowledge resources in this area. The position will require a high degree of collaboration with the fee-earning and knowledge lawyers across Europe as well as with our marketing and business development teams.

We are looking for an EU-qualified lawyer with sound knowledge of financial regulatory law who is interested in working independently, drive topics forward and develop new ideas.

In particular, you will support us in:

  • establishing and developing the regulatory knowhow management in our European practice;
  • identifying strategic trends;
  • preparing client presentations and briefings on new regulatory initiatives and developments;
  • the further development of our RegTech tools;
  • participating in and furthering the close exchange with our Regulatory Knowledge Lawyer global network; and
  • participating in conferences and drafting consultations on new regulatory projects.

The ideal candidate will:

  • be qualified to practise as a European lawyer; and
  • have a minimum of 4 years’ experience working in financial regulatory law either at an international commercial law firm or inhouse at a financial institution or in an association.
