The Luxembourg office of Hogan Lovells has a job opening for an associate with 1-4 years of experience for the Capital Markets & Banking practice.

As a future member of our Luxembourg Capital Markets & Banking team, the candidate will work on a wide range of cross-border deals and advise top-tier clients, including financial institutions, funds, investment banks, public entities, corporates from various industry sectors, private equity houses. The role would include the following:

  • Drafting, reviewing and negotiating finance documents and legal opinions in the context of syndicated lending deals, real estate, fund, assets and acquisition finance, debt restructuring transactions
  • Managing and coordinating various aspects in capital markets and lending transactions
  • Structuring, assisting and advising on securitisation transactions and structured finance deals
  • Assisting on various debt capital markets transactions and securities issuances, as well as listing matters
  • Advising on regulatory and other aspects of finance transactions and capital markets practice
  • Participating in presentations, legal publications as well as client meetings


  • Master’s degree in Law (or similar degree), an LLM will be considered an asset
  • Admission to a European or Luxembourg Bar
  • Relevant work experience of 1-4 years
  • Fluent in English. The command of any other language such as German and/or French will be considered an asset.
  • A friendly, dynamic and proactive team player with good communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills, the ability to summarise complex topics and provide practical advice and solutions
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously
  • A strong sense of responsibility and commitment to deliver high quality advice and services to our clients
