Department purpose 

The Investment Funds Department advises clients in relation to the structuring and setting up of regulated funds (UCITS, Part II UCIs, SIFs and SICARS ) and unregulated funds (such as limited partnerships and RAIFs) for institutional and non-institutional investors covering all main asset classes from equity, bonds, derivatives and structured products for liquid funds to real estate, infrastructure, credit, private equity andventure capital in the alternative space. Our lawyers are also advise institutional investors ranging from pension funds, investment funds, development finance institutions and sovereign wealth funds on their investments in Luxembourg investment vehicles and on the review and negotiation of their investment terms. Advising fund service providers and setting up investment fund managers also constitutes a core activity of the team. You will join a dynamic Tier 1 team and firm deeply involved in the promotion of the Luxembourg industry that can draw on its global reach due to Allen & Overy’s integrated global network. Our team’s positioning is to act as main counsel for asset managers advising on their global strategies and funds, in constant collaboration with our local offices and best friend law firms around the world. Experienced Investment Funds Lawyer (m/f)

• You will work in a truly diverse environment and on cross-border projects

• You have at least eight years’ experience in Funds in a law firm
• You are fluent in both written and spoken English and German, and French is an asset
• You have strong technical and writing skills
