This year, ICC Germany, the German branch of the International Chamber of Commerce, is organising the International ICC Arbitration Forum „Sustainability meets Efficiency in International Arbitration“ with its opening event taking place on 30 May 2022 from 15:00 to 17:30 am (CET) at Schlosshotel Kronberg, near Frankfurt am Main, Germany.

On May 30, we are especially honoured to have Claudia Salomon, the president of the ICC International Court of Arbitration, with us as keynote speaker and panelist for the subsequent panel discussion with three distinguished experts in international arbitration_

Dr. Alexandra Diehl, Partner, White & Case
Prof. Dr. Antje Baumann, Founding and Managing Partner, BAUMANN Resolving Disputes
Dr. Alexander Insam, Partner, GSK Stockmann
Moderator: Dr. Ulrich Tölke, Partner, KPMG Law

International arbitration offers its users a flexible dispute resolution tool that allows parties to tailor the procedures to their individual needs. If parties, legal representatives and arbitrators agree on efficient procedural management, time- and cost-efficient dispute resolution can be ensured. In the absence of such an understanding, arbitration proceedings can also quickly drag on and costs escalate.

With the ICC Arbitration Forum, we will, together with the ICC International Court of Arbitration, our partners as well as national and international experts, discuss current issues surrounding the sustainability and efficiency of international arbitration proceedings and promote Germany as a place of arbitration.

This ICC Arbitration Forum is being organised with the support of KPMG AGHerbert Smith Freehills LLPLuther Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft mbHMayer Brown LLP and White & Case LLP.
